A Journaling Practice Built Around You
You've bought the beautiful journal, started with the best of intentions, filled in the first three pages beautifully, and then... nothing. It's still sitting in a drawer somewhere, quietly judging you every time you go looking for a pen.
Here's what nobody tells you: that's not a "you" problem, it's a journal problem. The wrong kind of journal for where you are right now can turn something that's meant to feel good into one more thing to "fail" at.
This Journaling Workshop is where you stop forcing yourself into a journal that doesn't fit, and find the one that does, for right now. Because what works for you in six months might be completely different, that's just human nature.
The Right Page For The Person You Are Right Now.
There is no right or wrong way to journal. It's genuinely that simple, and somehow also the hardest thing to actually believe.
What works for you depends on how much time you've got, what kind of week you're having, and what you need energetically as much as anything else. A short, structured, tick-box style journal can be exactly what pulls you out of a foggy, low motivation stretch. A blank page with nothing on it but a quote at the bottom can be exactly what lets you breathe out after a long day. Neither one is more "proper" than the other. They're just for different chapters.
This workshop teaches you how to tell the difference, and how to build or buy the right one for right now, not the one you think you should be able to stick to.

Your investment in you
The Journaling Workshop walks you through three real, very different styles of journaling side by side, so you can feel which one fits before you commit to a single notebook.
You'll learn:
✨ The difference between structured, prompted journaling and free flowing, blank page journaling, and how to spot which one you actually need right now
✨ Why a journal that leaves you feeling like a failure isn't a bad journal, it's just the wrong one for this season of your life
✨ How to build your own DIY prompt cards using the questions that genuinely serve you, not the ones that make you feel like you're being marked
✨ Simple ways to turn any notebook into a memory keeper, an intention tracker and a scrapbook, all at once
✨ How to close a journaling session with a crystal or an oracle card, so it becomes part of your wider energetic practice rather than something separate from it
By the end, you'll have a completely different relationship with your journal. Not just which one looks nice on the shelf, but why it works, or doesn't, for you.

Master The Art Of Noticing
Alongside the teaching, you'll work through each of the three journal styles for yourself and notice, honestly, what pulls at you and what doesn't. Some people realise they need the structure right now, others need a blank page with nothing to tick off and nowhere to fail. Both are completely valid, and you're allowed to need a different ones at different times.
You'll also come away with some of the questions I come back to again and again in my own journal, the ones that ask why something happened for me rather than to me, and what I might have missed in the busyness of the day. The workbook is there to capture what you notice, so you can see how things shift over time.
Meet Jo
Jo is the guiding heart behind Stone & Joy, and this workshop is a reflection of her grounded presence, gentle encouragement and deep belief in the power of self-reflection. She's supported hundreds of women around the world in reconnecting with themselves and raising their inner awareness.
Jo approaches journaling the way she approaches crystal therapy: with warmth, honesty and absolutely no judgement if your journal collection is mostly guilt and good intentions.
The Journaling Workshop is deliberately built around real, lived examples rather than a single "correct" method, because for Jo, journaling has never been about discipline for discipline's sake. It's a tool for calm, for self-awareness, and for tracking the quiet, ordinary ways you grow.
You don't need a shelf full of beautiful stationery to get started. You don't need to have ever finished a journal in your life. You just need to be curious.

Your Journal Has Been Trying To Tell You Something
This is one of Jo's most personal workshops, because it isn't really about journals at all. It's about noticing what you actually need, and giving yourself permission to change your mind when you need something different.
Your journal has been trying to fit you into it. This is where you start fitting it to you
